First introduced in 2008, the 2.5 hp four-stroke is the smallest member of the Tohatsu award-winning four-stroke portable outboards. At just 41lbs, the 2.5 hp is truly portable making it a perfect choice for a variety of small crafts as well as an excellent source of power for smaller sailboats that require a short shaft.

The 2.5 hp Tohatsu is available in 15" (short) shaft ONLY and features an internal fuel tank built right into the motor for hassle-free operation. If you're in need of a long shaft, browse the 3.5hp model here.
