Introducing the newest addition to our TLDI® lineup: The 40
hp TLDI® is currently the smallest mid-range outboard with direct
fuel injection technolgy on the market. Lightweight and powerful,
this 40 is terrific for many different boat applications. From bass
fishing to easy cruises on the lake, you will be amazed at what
all the 40 TLDI® can do for you.
It provides
superb fuel economy while giving you top performance. And with highly
reduced emissions, you will be doing your part to help keep the
environment clean. Our new 40 TLDI® weighs up to 15% less than
competitive 4-stroke outboards and meets all 2006 EPA regulations
as well as all CARB (California Air Resource Board) requirements
through 2007. It offers many of the same features of our well-liked
2-stroke carbureted 40 hp while providing you with several extended
features such as 2 TPS’s (Throttle Position Sensor) to provide
precise air flow to maximize fuel efficiency and minimize emissions,
a rev-limit sensor, a water temperature sensor, and a visible oil
level sensor.

40 TLDI® is what you need when you expect top-notch performance,
superior technology, and unmatched reliability!
PLEASE
NOTE: Fuel tanks are not included on outboards 40hp and above to
allow you to select the appropriate size fuel tank for your specific
application. We recommend purchasing a fuel tank locally or purchasing
one from our accessories section of this site.
