TLDI MODEL ENGINES. THIS IS DUE TO THE COMPLEX INITIAL SERVICING
REQUIRED PRIOR TO CUSTOMER TAKING POSSESSION. TLDI MODELS MUST BE
INSTALLED AT OUR COOKEVILLE, TN LOCATION. INSTALLATION (EST. $150-250)
AND SALES TAX (9.75%) IS ADDITIONAL. SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Tohatsu 40 TLDI® is the smallest engine with air-assisted
direct injection technology. This outboard has all of the benefits
of new and improved 21st century technology without compromising
power or performance.
We have added
this new low-pressure air/fuel delivery system to our proven engine
block to give you an outboard superior to all others. It provides
exceptional fuel savings over 4-Strokes and conventional 2-Strokes
alike and is very gentle on the environment. Our 40 TLDI® weighs
up to 15% less than competitive 4-stroke outboards and meets all
2006 EPA regulations as well as all CARB (California Air Resource
Board) requirements through 2007.
PLEASE
NOTE: Fuel tanks are not included on outboards 40hp and above to
allow you to select the appropriate size fuel tank for your specific
application. We recommend purchasing a fuel tank locally or purchasing
one from our accessories section of this site.
